Alright, I'll admit it; I am terrible at this regular blogging malarcky. I've been trying so hard (ok, a bit hard) to be better but I think I'm just doomed to be tardy, unreliable and just a bit rubbish forever. I'm sorry guys. I failed you... but in my defence I have been really really busy. I went to a conference for three days last week and then I was watching Broadchurch for the next seven... so yeah. BUSY.

Anyway, enough of my crap excuses.

 After the sun popped it's head out for two whole days last week, I went a bit summer shopping crazy and, as a result, bought myself 3 kimonos, 2 summer dresses, 2 pairs of shorts and a pair of sandals. A bit excessive you might think, considering the usual summer weather we have here involves rain with a side of rain, but I'm an optimist! And, after coming across this floaty, lovely thing on the Boohoo website, I couldn't help but treat myself to a few other awesome bits and pieces - essentials obviously - and then one thing led to the other and, well, I'm sure you know the rest. Who needs to eat these days though? Really?
