Monochrome looks like its set to be a huge trend in the coming months and, if you're anything like me, this doesn't fill you with much enthusiasm... I usually like a bit of colour in my outfits and just plain black and white seems far too tidy and put together for my liking; I much prefer the messy and haphazard look! However, seeing as the shops are likely to be crammed full of the stuff, I thought that putting together a few alternative monochrome-themed looks using Polyvore might help me get into the swing of things, acting as a kind of Ways To Wear post.
My favourites are #1 and #5, just because they''re more the kind of thing I can see myself wearing as everyday outfit's, but I also really like the feel of #2 with the contrast between the high fashion feather skirt and the casual cap and high-tops, and also the twist that the geek glasses add to the outfit in #3.
What do you all think of the latest Monochrome trend? Love it or hate it? For those of you who, like me, weren't particularly feeling it, I hope this gives you a few more ideas anyways :)
