FASHION: ARK CLOTHING STYLE

There are a few websites which I go back to time and time again when i need a wardrobe makeover, and Ark Clothing is one of them. I remember scrolling through their pages in the first years of University, and spending most of my student loan on shoes and dresses and then living off cereal for the rest of the year..... We've all been there! Haven't we...?


Ark had started to slip off my radar a bit over the past few months, but they've definitely upped their game recently with a brand spanking new website and a whole sh1t tonne of awesome summer pieces that make me wish i still had my student loan.

FASHION: BRITISH FESTIVAL FASHION

With Glastonbury Festival kicking off a summer of music and warm cider in the sun comes the obligatory festival fashion fever. When I used to go to festivals *sob* I always had a bit of a melt-down if i didn't meticulously plan my outfits for each day beforehand. Unfortunately I'm not one of those people who can just throw on whatever the hell they feel like each morning and manage to look like they'd just strolled through Vanessa Hudgens' wardrobe, so a bit of pre-planning went far.

So for all you festival goers out there, here are my top UK Music Festival Essentials, plus a little bit of festival fashion inspo from some British beauts who manage to perfect the look year after year.

This dress is one of my favourite items of clothing I own. The sheer lace body makes it a tad too fancy for daytime so i dressed it down with a vintage tee tied at the waist for a stroll around town over the weekend, and I love how the sheer sleeves look peeking out from underneath the top. This tee has been worn to death by me over the past few months so I'm resolved to find a couple of alternatives to switch between. You just cant beat a good graphic tee in the summer! I'm pretty devastated that summer seems to be over already here, and I had to have a gigantic coat to hand off-camera for these photos. I was even forced to wear a scarf and gloves to work last week! In June! Absolute madness. However much I love layering, I'm a complete sun worshiper at heart, so here's hoping it warms up again soon!
